My name is Amanda, and I'm a 20-something in Los Angeles, CA who started drinking craft beer about 4 years ago. I've been "collecting" for about the past 2 years, and during that time I've tried to put more effort into refining my palate, by diversifying the styles that I drink and by paying more attention to the flavors and aromas in each beer I try.
I'm no expert, and I really started this blog in order to document, for myself, what I've tried, how much I've liked it, and what it tastes like. I do try a lot of beers that I don't review here, and that's because I want to review every beer as fairly as possible. That generally means that the reviews happen on nights when I'm on my own, trying only one beer at a time.
